With a world full of fascinating destinations, choosing the place can present a challenge.

The Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA) and the International Institute of Tourism Studies at The George Washington University released their annual Adventure Tourism Development Index 2020 (ATDI), the index ranks countries according to their potential as adventure/nature travel destinations.

The competitiveness analysis of adventure tourism included 191 countries, of which 28 are in the category of developed and 163 in the category of developing countries. Data were collected and analyzed in 10 categories, read more!. The Index ranks countries in two categories: developed and developing, based on the countries’ U.N. designation.

Here is the Top 10 for 2021.


 10. AUSTRALIA

Australia occupies the Australian continent. The country also includes some islands, most notably Tasmania. Austria hs an amazing scenery, beautiful lakes, and stunning mountain ranges.
